NoSide LLC — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

About this policy

NoSide LLC (“NoSide,” “we,” “us”) develops websites, applications, browser extensions, and related tools. We aim to minimize the collection of personal information, favor local processing, and give users meaningful control over the information they choose to use or share. This policy describes our general practices. Particular applications may also display more specific notices when needed.

Our website

At present, noside.us does not provide NoSide-operated user accounts, data-submission forms, or analytics collecting visitor information. The website's hosting and security providers may nevertheless process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. Those providers apply their own terms and privacy practices. We will update this notice before introducing any NoSide-operated collection features.

Information used in our software

Our software may process user-selected files, photographs, designs, descriptions, identifiers, application settings, or other content needed to carry out a requested function. The information depends on the tool and what the user chooses to provide. Our current development approach generally favors processing and storing this information on the user's device or in an account or cloud service the user controls, rather than collecting it in a centralized NoSide database. Where a feature requires information to be sent to a third-party service, such as cloud storage, a metadata provider, or another website, the service's own policies also apply.

Optional user submissions

Future features may allow people to submit reusable designs or “Appearances,” for example for digital passes. Such submissions will be optional, and the details of storage, visibility, reuse, moderation, retention, and deletion will be explained before the feature goes live. Although designs are not inherently personal information, submitted content might include names, photos, or other identifying details. Users should share only content they have the right to provide.

Sharing and security

NoSide does not sell personal information. Any sharing required to provide a chosen feature should be limited to that feature's needs, including third-party services the user elects to connect. We seek to avoid exposing personal content and credentials in diagnostics and use available platform security features. Nonetheless, users should protect their devices, accounts, and files, and no system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

For information held locally or in a user's own cloud account, retention and deletion generally depend on that device, application's controls, or provider's policies. Removing an app may not delete data already shared with others or retained by an external service. If NoSide begins hosting user-submitted content centrally, we will state the applicable retention and deletion arrangements before doing so.

Your rights and GDPR

Where applicable, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), individuals may have rights to information about processing, access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection, subject to legal conditions. Our legal basis for any processing for which NoSide is responsible depends on its purpose and may include consent, providing a requested service, or legitimate interests in operating and securing our services. People in the EEA may contact their supervisory authority with a complaint. Information kept solely on a user's device or within their own third-party account may be managed directly through those services; NoSide may not possess a copy or be able to access it.

International services

Some service or infrastructure providers operate outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their processing and international transfer safeguards depend on the services used. We will give more specific information if we start centrally collecting user data.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy as our data practices change, with the current version published at https://noside.us/privacy. Privacy inquiries may be sent through the contact information available at https://noside.us/.
